In order to thrills and aquatic fun ? Opt for the "integral" rafting trip de 13km long, which combines rafting routes the discovery of et sports stakeholders .
In a sublime natural and wild setting, experience a sports experience , increasing difficulty.
The gorges of Saint-Georges and the villages of Axat and Saint-Martin-Lyse will be the first stages of your whitewater descent, with class II and III rapids.
Then, the torrent rushes into the Pierre-Lys gorges, where you will face class IV tumultuous and thrilling rapids.
This 2h30 descent is recommended for athletes in good physical condition, fans of adventure and adrenaline rushes.

Integral rafting: Outdoor Nature prices
These prices include:
- The framing provided by state-certified guides.
- All the specific material and necessary for the practice of rafting in complete safety.
- Le shuttle transportation to reach the start of the activity and to return to the raft base in Axat.
- The provident insurance for the supervised practice of rafting (professional civil liability)
- A €1 fee donated directly to EDF, which manages the dam feeding the river on which we practice the activity.

Integral rafting in the Aude: practical information
Who is the game for?
The course full rafting is made up of class II, III and IV rapids.
It is the ideal output for athletes in good physical condition ages 12 and up, looking for an intense sporting activity.
Prerequisites : know how to swim 25 meters and immerse yourself without fear.
How long does the activity last?
The full course lasts about 3 hours :
- 30 minutes of reception, equipment and shuttle to the start of the course.
- 2h30 rafting descent
- 15 minutes of debriefing and return shuttle.

What equipment is provided?
All the equipment necessary to practice rafting in optimal conditions of comfort and safety is provided to you:
- Suit neoprene
- Helmet specifically designed for rafting
- Life jacket
- Raft : inflatable boat
- paddles
All this equipment is CE approved and checked daily.
What equipment should be provided?
- A swimsuit
- A pair of sports shoes
- A towel
- A small snack and a bottle of water to consume when you return from the activity
What is the meeting place?
Go directly to Axat, in the Sud Rafting car park, to pick up your equipment and meet your guide.
You will then go by shuttle to the start of your route.
Axat is located in the Aude department (11), just on the other side of the Pyrénées-Orientales border, at:
- 1 hour from Perpignan and Barcarès.
- 1h15 from Argelès-sur-Mer, Saint-Cyprien and Canet-en-Roussillon.
