A sports activity ideal for lovers of thrills in a wild frame.
Equipped with a rigid foam float and a pair of flippers, start swimming on the roughest part of the Aude river, In class III and IV rapids.
This hydrospeed outing is tailor-made for experienced athletes, From 14 years.
The sensation course lasts approximately 1:15 am over a length of 7 km.

Hydrospeed sensation in Aude: practical information
What is the meeting place?
Go directly to Axat, in the Sud Rafting car park, to pick up your equipment and meet your guide.
You will then go by shuttle to the start of your route.
Axat is located in the Aude department (11), just on the other side of the Pyrénées-Orientales border, at:
- 1 hour from Perpignan and Barcarès.
- 1h15 from Argelès-sur-Mer, Saint-Cyprien and Canet-en-Roussillon.
Who is it for?
The course hydrospeed feeling is made up of class III and IV rapids.
It is the ideal output for:
- to groups of friends in good physical condition, looking for an aquatic sports experience;
- to families accustomed to intense sporting activities, with children aged at least 14 who are autonomous and comfortable in the water.
Prerequisites : know how to swim 25 meters and immerse yourself without fear.
What equipment is provided?
All the equipment necessary to practice hydrospeed in optimal conditions of comfort and safety is provided to you:
- Suit neoprene
- Helmet
- Life jacket
- Float rigid foam
- flipper
All this equipment is CE approved and checked daily.
What equipment should be provided?
- A swimsuit
- A towel
- A small snack and a bottle of water to consume when you return from the activity
How long does the activity last?
The sporting course lasts :
- 30 minutes of reception, equipment and shuttle to the start of the course.
- 1 hour and 15 minutes of whitewater swimming
- 15 minutes of debriefing and return shuttle.
